Let me describe some of my experiences at Regional College
of Management, Bangalore, an awesome B school in Bangalore, and how I went from a disillusioned teenager
to a successful millennial with the potential of a leader, not to mention an
inspiration to many of my friends on-campus and off.
This fabulous institution provides the ambiance of a place
incarnate of scholastic daydreams. Surprisingly the mentorship is equally
focused on recreation as a means of improving focus as we forge ahead in academics.
Not to be confused with just bookish learning but, to be accrued by trial and
error in the process of practical learning too. This hands-on approach empowers
on to deal with future challenges without any anxiety. The proceedings for the year at my chosen Bschool in Bangalore began with an induction program that was an
eye-opener for those of us who came in with a classroom mind-set. The program was well planned and executed,
emphasizing the significance of all endeavors that we will need to contend
with, often times under pressure. The
schedule for each day began at 8 am and ended at 8 pm. This included classroom sessions, out-door
sessions and physical activities. All of which endeavored to bring about a
takeaway, a kind of stimulus to evoke responses to that learning. The sections on corporate leadership and a global approach to education held special interest for most of us.
This B school in Bangalore’s, corporate
leadership program brought in many successful corporate captains and
entrepreneurs. It was enlightening and
motivated most of us to set personal goals as opposed to just passing the
examination. And the Global approach to education and life itself was something
I now aspire to work towards, RCMB gives you that edge over most in your
preparation for the corporate workspace to globalize your approach with a
vision for global corporate culture.
